5/31/19 Barbee blessing
Rick Spleth, our Regional Minister, came from Indianapolis to present the Barbee Blessing checks in the amount of $1,000 to each active church in the Stonebelt area. The money was a result of the sale of Camp Barbee, owned by the Disciples of Christ and operated for 60 years. The money was presented to the churches as a grant to facilitate faith formation programs at each church.
PIANIST REBECCA LUPPE
Rebecca Luppe
Rebecca Luppe hails from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and began her service as a church pianist at the age of 16 in her home church. Her public performances include being soloist for the Kalamazoo Symphony in 2010. Rebecca earned a bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN, with a minor in Religious Studies. She will complete her studies for a master's degree in Piano Performance at the IU Jacobs School of Music in 2020.
